About the opportunity: The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels at the Distribution Centre/3PL while working closely with Warehousing, Planning and Finance to ensure inventory is processed in SAP appropriately. The Inventory Supervisor will also be responsible for identifying areas of improvement and implementing change where necessary. The attributes we are looking for: Administer inventory control processes. Conduct root-cause analysis to identify inventory variances and implement corrective action to ensure inventory accuracy. This will require collaboration with Industrial and the warehouse or 3PL. Manage inventory in SAP to maintain material/batch integrity, reconcile discrepancies, identify product loss (shrink, scrap and returns) appropriately.The inventory includes, finished goods, containers, and packaging where applicable. Accountable for Customer Fill Rate. Responsible for replenishment of finished goods from internal sources, complete all necessary documents in SAP and work with Transportation on the physical movement of inventory. Monitor finished goods inventory levels for aging and damaged inventory. Work with Supply Planning to sell and/or industrial to rework the at-risk inventory. Coordinate physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and on-demand counts for specific monitoring of expired product, batch discrepancies, negative stocks and storage location irregularities. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports as well as ad hoc reports as required. Monitor the returns process for accuracy, follow up with Customer Service, Sales and the warehouse and execute SAP transactions when required. Liase with the quality department ensuring all inventory on-hold/released are actioned by the warehouse and support the quality teams where applicable. Provide day-to-day leadership to staff by maintaining work schedule, providing work direction, facilitating shift start up meetings, managing training and providing performance feedback What you will bring: University degree or College diploma in Business Management, Finance or related discipline Intermediate level in CGA/CMA program preferred Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in a Supply Chain Function, preferably within Consumer-Packaged Goods.
