Risk Manager

Opportunity Details LeverageTek is actively seeking a Risk Manager (Contracts) for a 9- month term with its Ottawa based customer. Work Location The successful candidate will be required to work on-site 4x/week at the customer headquarters in Ottawa, ON. Key Tasks Meet with internal stakeholders to understand their team’s primary functions and current obligation management processes Read and review in-scope Energy contracts, identify any knowledge gaps and acquire such knowledge via internal stakeholders or other sources Determine which obligations should be extracted and monitored based on pre-defined logic (“in-scope obligations”) Create and enter relevant metadata of in-scope obligations within the Company’s Contract Lifecycle Management platform (“CLM”) Gather Feedback from internal stakeholders and provide recommendations to the Senior Manager on any required adjustments to the extraction logic Distributes obligations within the CLM based on the Responsibility and Accountability Matrix Escalates any unfamiliar or new obligations to Senior Manager Support other special contractual risk projects or tasks, as required Key Qualifications Support other special contractual risk projects or tasks, as required Completion of an Undergraduate Degree in Law, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or other related field Proven experience in contract administration including drafting and negotiating various contracts, preferably with energy contracts Qualifications Understanding of North American electricity and natural gas markets is a strong asset Excellent organizational and time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines Professional with a positive attitude and capable of contributing to a dynamic and team-oriented culture About LeverageTek Staffing Solutions Thank you for taking the time to apply Since our company’s inception in March 2003, LeverageTek Staffing Solutions has worked resolutely to become one of the industry’s most recognized and trusted suppliers of complete cross-functional staffing services.
