In close collaboration with various departments, you will be at the nexus of our organization, meticulously gathering business requirements, overseeing project developments, providing transparent project updates, and organizing crucial testing and releases. As a valued member of our Project Management Office, you will serve as a bridge between the technical and business realms, contributing to the creation of compelling, interactive, and user-centered insurance products. In this role, you’ll get to experience: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for large-scale initiatives Manage the scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful delivery Creation of business requirements for internal and external IT teams Responsible for ensuring business requirements are being met by the proposed technology solutions (Web-enabled products, applications, and infrastructure) Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical and application support to internal and external stakeholders Communicate project status to all stakeholders Identifying, evaluating, and having a clear understanding of the high-level business needs of clients and stakeholders Lead testing and quality assurance efforts for websites and online application forms Communicating new enhancements, changes, and bug fixes to relevant stakeholders Train internal and external teams on new enhancements, changes, and bug fixes Resolve conflicting requirements effectively. Collaborate with various departments internal IT, software development, BI resources, end users, vendors, and implementation partners Continuously monitor and analyze potential impacts on requirements and technical scope Take the lead on initiatives and act as a change agent. What you bring: Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a track record of successfully leading complex projects. At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst. Core competencies for this role include analytical skills, communication skills, detail-oriented, organization/planning skills, project management, and presentation skills Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and time management skills. Ability to multi-task and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment Strong team player with proven experience working collaboratively Experience working closely with software developers Proficient in MS Office with an emphasis on Excel Ability to quickly adapt to and become proficient with new software tools and technologies What do you need to succeed? Additional Notes Core hours: 09:00-5:00 EST, working outside Core hours for release management is required Ability to work from home via VPN Laptop and phone will be supplied This is a fixed term contract for 10 months.
