Coach and optimize the professional development of individuals within the software development team. Collaborate with internal customers to establish requirements and objectives for deliverables. Maintain and develop internal SaaS products. Ensure internal customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded. Develop high-level designs and associated work plans. Maintain competency at all levels of the development process and the associated tech stack. Deliver solutions that scale effectively in terms of both usage and future expansion. Draw from a large and continuously evolving pool of tools and strategies to solve problems. Maintain and leverage cloud infrastructure as part of the development process. Our ideal candidate Minimum 4-year bachelor's degree in computing science or engineering. Minimum 8 years experience in software development. Minimum 2 years experience in managing software development teams. Ability to manage teams under heavy constraints while strategically managing technical debt. Firm understanding of version control in both theory and practice. Competency with the following computer languages: PHP (including WordPress), Python, JavaScript, and Bash. Mastery in PostgreSQL database development and management. Mastery in Linux environments from both development environment and server management perspectives. Mastery in leveraging modularized cloud infrastructure as part of the development process. AWS (CloudFront, EC2, RDS, VPC, WAF, S3, IAM, OpenSearch, Route 53, EventBridge, Kinesis). Google (Cloud Maps API, Workspace).
