Job Locations: Mississauga, ON Our challenge We are looking for Java Developer having experience in Core java, microservices, elastic search with banking/ financial background. The Role Responsibilities: Work closely with the client to design, develop, deploy and support new innovative business solutions Work within a global team in an agile environment, so strong communications skills are very important Comfortable with Spring, Camel, RDBMS concepts in general, JMS Comfortable with enterprise applications implemented using Java, microservices architecture Technically sound and comfortable with going through the existing code and be a quick starter Capability to work as individual contributor as well as teamwork Requirements: You are: Experience in Spring boot, Microservices. Java 11 version, Spring boot, Spring framework, Microservices, basics around SQL, Database (No SQL preferred), Message platform (like Kafka / JMS / MQ equivalent). Questions asked may include: List, Map interfaces, Exception handling, Data Types, etc. Experience in Web API implementations with RESTful services. Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment. Analytical skills Experience in managing and implementing successful projects. Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements. Experience in building applications delivered on cloud-based services. It would be great if you also had: Hadoop/ Spark is a plus to have. Banking/ Financial Domain.
