Type of contract: Akkodis Number of hours / week : 40h Mode : Hybrid 3 days on site / 2 days remote Industry : Aerospace & Defense Location : Peterborough, ON Akkodis is looking for a Hardware Designer (M/F) for its client in the aerospace & defense sector. The role is based in Peterborough, ON with 2 days remote and 3 days on site. Responsibilities : Perform circuit analysis and traceability from user’s requirements to formal design and implementation. Support and inspect the installation, modification, testing and operation of electronic components, systems and equipment. Debug and troubleshoot hardware circuits. Determine FMEA at Board and Component levels. Integrate hardware into embedded system environment, including test bench and on aircraft at customer sites. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of training and experience. Minimum 2 years experience with embedded control systems. Proficient on Microsoft Office Tools advanced features (Word, Project, Access and Excel). Experience with DO-254 certification standard.
