Infrastructure Solutions Architect

PrecisionERP is seeking a D365 Infrastructure Solution Architect, who has deep knowledge of multiple key Microsoft cloud services, including Azure, M365, and Intune, assisting in the architecture, design, security, administration and licensing in a hybrid infrastructure environment. This position collaborates closely with Senior Infrastructure Analysts and the Cloud Architect and will ensure the prompt completion of core deliverables for ongoing Cloud Services Programs. This work can be done fully remote. A valid SECRET clearance is required for this role. This is a potential two year contract The D365 Infrastructure Solution Architect responsibilities could include but are not limited to: Responsibilities : Possess deep knowledge of multiple key Microsoft cloud services, including Azure, M365, and Intune, assisting in the architecture, design, security, administration and licensing in a hybrid infrastructure environment. Assist or lead as appropriate with the overall design and configuration of services including Microsoft Azure, Exchange Online, Intune, M365, and Power Platform to support the D365 project. The role interfaces and interacts with stakeholders to analyze, interpret and understand complex systems and their requirements while providing industry best practice recommendations. Serve as the Infrastructure Lead for the client's Information Management Program, collaborating with the project team to ensure the delivery of key deliverables, assess requests to determine effort, priority, and impact, and oversee the technology enablement stream of the Program as a critical foundational element supporting D365. Assess and provide recommendations for implementing integration solutions in a highly regulated hybrid environment, ensuring seamless data flow between systems. Monitor solution performance and provide recommendations for improvement(s). Serve as technical lead for the implementation and delivery of key Microsoft Cloud Services and Solutions, including: Intune modern deployment, including AutoPilot, Exchange Online, M365, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Purview and Power Platform. Assist the client with maturity assessment(s) across these services to ensure continued returns on investment. Work closely with Solution Architects and other technical resources to enable new and modernized solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem. Assist with the transition to Infrastructure as Code where reasonable. Identify areas for implementing automation services. Remain up to date on the latest and upcoming features, changes, retirements, etc. of the platform to evaluate benefits and to stay ahead of potential disruptions. Assist with the planning and execution of migration activities related to moving from on-prem services to Azure following cloud smart mindset. Specialties could include but are not limited to: Enterprise experience in design, deployment and management of foundational Microsoft cloud infrastructure to support Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. Experience conveying advanced technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Extensive experience in designing and managing users and groups in Azure AD. Experience managing and assigning licenses to users in Azure and Microsoft 365. Strong technical expertise in managing Microsoft Azure environments and effectively managing solutions and their deployment. Demonstrable strong, detail oriented, troubleshooting capabilities Proficient with core M365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and M365 Apps. Proven experience with Microsoft’s Security and Compliance features, such as; Information Protection, DLP, Defender, Advanced Threat Protection, and Exchange Online Protection. Strong Experience with key infrastructure activities such as virtualization and networking (including the implementation of ExpressRoute) in Microsoft Azure. Proficiency with the design of scalable, secure, and cost-effective Azure solutions while leveraging industry best practices for managing IaaS/PaaS solutions and templates (IE: Terraform). Understanding and experience implementing industry best practices for governance of complex Azure tenants. Experience planning and executing a strategy for enabling modern deployment strategies, including Microsoft Intune services such as AutoPilot. Experience administering Power Platform solutions in a multi-environment tenant, supporting both citizen development and core integrations with other services, such as D365 F&O. Hands on experience with Migration tool(s) and strategies for transitioning into M365/Azure environments. Strong communication and knowledge transfer skills. Experience in a DevOps Environment and familiar with DevOps Frameworks. Deliverables may include: Leads the planning and design of enterprise Microsoft Cloud related solutions, ensuring alignment with the client’s business requirements and overall IT Strategy and standards. Creates and maintain technical design document(s) for configurations, customizations, supporting platforms, dataflows, and other infrastructure requirements across Microsoft Cloud Services. Contribute and help to maintain a Microsoft Services knowledge source, including the inventory of custom solutions, integration points, etc. Engage team members in knowledge sharing and shadowing sessions to provide up-skilling and redundancy within the infrastructure team.
