Manager, Financial Market Risk

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Manager, Financial Market Risk for a permanent position with its Ottawa based customer. Security Requirement Must be eligible for a Government of Canada Enhanced Reliability Clearance. Work Location Remote Key Tasks Framework Development and Maintenance Implement and maintain the customer’s payment system financial market risk framework and lead the development of future business/functional requirements for the financial risk framework to support the RTR future road map Risk Program Analysis and promotion Promote the rigour and credibility of the risk program and contribute by delivering high-quality analysis on financial risk management to support risk policy and risk management strategies in the medium to long-term Stakeholder Engagement Participate in internal and external stakeholder/member working groups to build and maintain relationships Develop, plan, prioritize and support work for the delivery of the enhanced observance of the Bank of Canada’s Risk Management Standards for Prominent Payment Systems in collaboration with other teams Project Management: Manage project activities and deliverables with a focus on quality, delivering within project timelines while managing project risks Key Qualifications Minimum 8-10 years experience in the risk management or project and product delivery in financial services Strong experience as the lead or primary point of contact (additional experience creating and delivery presentation to internal and external stakeholder groups Experience in a financial market risk or similar position combined with a strong understanding of payments and banking financial services sector Qualifications University degree in Finance, Business or a related field Knowledge of the Canadian payments industry in particular Canadian payments clearing and settlement systems or banking operations Asset Insights into the developments of international clearing and settlement systems About LeverageTek IT Solutions Thank you for taking the time to apply Since our company’s inception in March 2003, LeverageTek IT Solutions has worked resolutely to become one of the industry’s most recognized and trusted suppliers of technology staffing and business consulting services.
