Job Description
We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a Software Development Coordinator with excellent organization skills to fill a contract position with one of our key Life science clients. ABOUT THE PROJECT Our client is one of North America’s leading Scientific Test and Measurement organizations, with offices worldwide. They strive to improve the world we live in by enabling scientists and laboratory analysts to push the limits in their field and address the complex analytical challenges they face. As Software Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting the Software Management team with the coordination of tasks. You will work closely with all functions, tracking progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, and facilitating communication between stakeholders to ensure successful completion of the tasks. ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES Assisting in the planning and execution of software department tasks Coordinating with team members to ensure project milestones are met. Tracking and reporting on progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays. Serving as a point of contact between functions or stakeholders. Facilitating meetings, such as project kick-offs, status updates, and retrospectives. Preparing and distributing project documentation, status reports, and other relevant materials. Monitoring task completion and ensuring that work is aligned with project goals and timelines. Maintaining up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change logs. Ensuring that all documentation is accurate and accessible to relevant team members. ABOUT THE REQUIRED SKILLS Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. Proactive learning attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges and adapt to changing project requirements. Knowledge of basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office ABOUT THE ROLE This is a six-month contract position, located in our client’s North Toronto site, with the strong possibility of long-term contract extensions.
