THE JOB We are seeking a seasoned Implementation Specialist with 10-15 years of experience in healthcare technology to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with sales, customer support, technical support, onboarding, and technology teams to deliver maximum value to our clients. This role is critical in ensuring that our healthcare solutions are configured and implemented to meet client needs, improving their overall experience and enhancing workflow efficiency. This position is not about developing new solutions but about understanding our existing products and configuring them to best serve our clients’ needs. The role requires strong client management skills and the ability to handle complex, large-scale projects for healthcare organizations. Key Responsibilities: Conduct Technical Discovery Sessions: Engage with clients to conduct in-depth technical discovery sessions, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their requirements, workflows, and system environments. Client Engagement: Collaborate directly with clients to ensure their specific needs are identified and met, ensuring a seamless integration of our solutions. Cross-Departmental Coordination: Work closely with internal teams (sales, technical support, customer success, onboarding) to deliver a seamless implementation experience. Solution Configuration: Leverage in-depth technical knowledge of healthcare technologies to configure our solutions for optimal client use, enhancing their workflows and overall system experience. Project Management: Manage timelines and ensure clients are up and running with our solutions in a timely manner, coordinating resources and tracking deliverables. Training & Support: Provide guidance and training to clients to maximize their use of our products and assist with onboarding. Technical Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of EHR standards, patient portals, FHIR/HL7, and other healthcare technologies to ensure successful integration and implementation. Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the implementation process, working with technical support and engineering teams when necessary. Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to improve implementation processes and enhance the client experience. WHAT YOU BRING Ideally you are a self-starter who is highly organized and can deliver against tight timelines. You thrive when working on multiple projects using your analytical skills to deliver results. Your advanced written and verbal communication skills will be used to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholder groups and deliver excellent presentations. In addition, you bring: 10-15 years of experience in healthcare technology, with a strong focus on implementation and client support. Comprehensive knowledge of EHR standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7), major EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Allscripts), and patient portals. Proven experience managing complex projects in large healthcare organizations. Strong client management skills with a track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships. Experience collaborating across internal teams and departments to deliver successful implementations. Technical Skills: Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI) or Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) is a plus. Project management certifications (e.g., PMP) or experience leading technical projects to timely completion is highly desirable.
