Job Description : We are looking for a Senior Python Backend Developer responsible for building REST APIs and serverless functions in Azure with Python. Your primary focus will be the development of REST APIs ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application; therefore a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the application. Therefore a commitment to collaborative problem solving and a quality product is important. Responsibilities : - Ability to deliver high-quality working software with minimal supervision. - Writing secure, reusable, testable, and efficient code. - Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications. - Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic. - Implementation of security and data protection. - Integration with other Azure services like Azure Functions, APIM, Azure storage, SQL, and NoSQL databases. - Write automated tests. - Integrate with Azure APIM, Tracing, and Monitoring services. Skills And Qualifications : - Experience building Azure Functions in Python. - Expert in Python with knowledge of at least one Python web framework. - Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries. - Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system. - Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. - Experience with OAuth2/OIDC to secure the backend using Azure AD B2C. - Experience with Azure APIM and other Azure services like Key Vaults, Cost Management, Budgets, Application Insights, Azure Monitor, VNet, etc. - Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application. - Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes. - Strong unit test and debugging skills. - Experience with Git, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI. - Experience working with Gen-AI, Langchain, Vectorization, and LLMs. - Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB. - Experience with REST APIs and Microservices. - Experience with Azure DevOps - CI/CD.
