Interns will also participate as a team in a Day of Caring community service project.

This is a 10-week summer internship from June 2, 2025 and ending August 8, 2025. Interns will typically work a 5-day workweek at 38.75 hours / week. Interns work with their department supervisor to determine weekly schedules. Interns must commit to the 10-week program for the summer and participate in planned training and activities.

Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited college degree program. Must be able to provide own transportation.

Internship Position Description

Assist the Internal Audit team, auditing operational functions within the Company. Understanding the business processes of multiple departments, such as: Claims, Underwriting, Operations, Finance, etc. Actively participate in day to day auditing within Internal Audit.

Department-specific responsibilities, project description, deliverables

Work with the Internal Audit team in planning, developing, executing and documenting audit processes. Testing the operating effectiveness of internal controls and reporting on the results. Reading and analyzing financial statements. Work on special projects, such as creating process documentation, completing risk assessments, automating processes, creating dashboards etc. Analyze audit data and document conclusions. Work on problems of diverse scope. Assist with annual external financial statement's audit. Performing related work as assigned by audit Management.

College Level Preferred

  • Undergraduate (Rising Junior/Senior)
  • Graduate Student (Final Year)
Majors and/or Coursework Preferred
  • Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency
  • Strong database skills
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
