We are looking for a Skilled Production Technician to join our manufacturing/ production client, based in Much Wenlock. This role offers a variety of work tasks with the opportunity for progression within this family run business. This is a straight permanent position with nice day working hours, potential overtime available if wanted.

The Skilled Production Technician will be responsible for:

• Controlling all stock levels including raw materials and finished goods
• Completing quality checks on deliveries
• Follow procedures to ensure production meets quality targets
• Working to production schedule
• Assess maintenance requirements on machinery
• Carry out basic maintenance on machinery
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and tidiness
• Adhere to Health and Safety regulations
• Driving FLT and/or Telehandler

Skills and Experience required:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Computer literate
• Ideally hold FLT CB or Telehandler licence
• Manual handling
• Ideally have a basic understanding of machine maintenance
• This role would suit a candidate with previous experience as a Production Operative / Machine Operative / Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver / Production Technician / Process Technician / Manufacturing Technician
