Warehouse Supervisor

Packaged Sounds Group is a Vinyl manufacturing company with facilities in the UK and Poland. Our pressing plants manufacture Vinyl records, CD, Print and Packaging, as well as providing a complete distribution capability for our clients in the UK, EU and US markets. This is supported by an in-house project management team comprising studio engineers, graphic artists, vinyl technologists, print and packaging specialists and local account management and support staff in the UK, US, German and Austrian markets.

We are now seeking an Warehouse Supervisor to join our team overseeing the daily operations of a small but complex warehouse that is at the heart of our organisation.

What we are looking for:

• Day to day management of a small team
• The picking and packing of client orders
• Making deliveries ready for collection by our couriers (air, sea and road freight)
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• To ensure accurate entry of warehouse data into company ERP systems
• To ensure warehouse has controlled and accurate stock movement
• Receiving goods into stock and checking for damaged or missing items
• Allocating stock to agreed warehouse layout
• Dealing with month end and year end stock control procedures
• To ensure compliance with quality as well as health and safety policies
• Be involved in the design and implementation of new procedures

Requirements

• The type of skills we would like to see includes...
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in warehousing/logistics
  • Good verbal, written and listening skills
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • To be familiar and comfortable with warehouse management systems
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Forklift Licence desirable
