Job Title: Dual Services Supervisor

Location: Surrey Quay

PAY RATE: £15.05 per hour

Working Hours: Full-time 48 hours per week

JOB PURPOSE:

You will be responsible to the Service Manager to provide and ensure the safety of all staff and members of the public, premises and all property, and act as a point of contact between Client and the local authorities you will be required to deliver the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and waste management throughout the Shopping Centre and Leisure Park, internally and externally by ensuring that all associated service roads, car parks, toilets and back of house areas are fully maintained and safe through a planned and reactive environmental management programme.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES: -

  • Undertake all duties or associated tasks as detailed by client and the Service Manager.
  • Supervision of hard services contract as directed by Centre Management.
  • Ensure that all patrols and duties are carried out as and when required, and that they are consummate to the individual’s ability.
  • Carry out all daily/weekly/monthly inspections and audits in accordance as per management instruction.
  • Ensure that daily, weekly and monthly staff briefings are carried out and recorded.
  • Carry out 12 monthly appraisals of all security staff.
  • Be proficient in the use of all communications equipment and have excellent communication and customer care skills.
  • Ensure that all contractors booked onto site have the required paperwork to carry out their specific tasks.
  • Ensure that the controllers are controlling access to the control room is strictly adhered to in accordance with the DPA.
  • Complete CCTV and DSA Audits as required
  • Ensure all staff on duty and correctly equipped for the task, in accordance with the assignment instructions.
  • Carry out the specific site training of all staff and ensure that they are adequately trained for the task.
  • Ensure that all daily paperwork is being used and filled out correctly.
  • Report immediately to the Service Manager or General Manager any staffing problems or occurrences which require his or her attention.
  • Responsible for ensuring that Assignment Instructions are regularly reviewed, amended and updated as necessary and are fully adhered to at all times.
  • Ensure that all staff have read, understood and signed the Assignment Instructions
  • Ensure all H&S policies are adhered to.
  • Attend and arrange monthly crime net meetings and attend all other meetings when required.
  • Complete and issue rosters well in advance to all staff
  • Ensure accurate completion of staff payroll
  • Ensure all monthly reports are completed and forwarded to the Service Manager within the given time frame. These include SIA Register checks, Training Matrix and Holiday & Sickness Registers Ensure high standards of Housekeeping are achieved at all times, being flexible to meet the changing operational needs on a continual basis and to suggest new initiatives to ensure best practice is continually delivered.
  • Deal initially with all on site HR issues and seek advice from HR or Service Manager if not sure.
  • In addition to the above functions, you will be required to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required by the Client or Service Manager.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Assist centre management as and when required.
  • Assist visitors and contractors to the site.
  • Ensure that no unauthorised persons are permitted into prohibited areas.
  • Ensure and maintain an accurate record of any and all incidents that occur.
  • Prompt and accurate compilation and reporting of all H&S/Incident reports
  • Ensure that all staff are fully briefed and aware of their duties in an evacuation.
