Senior Audit Manager

Our client in SW Ontario is seeking a professional with experience in risk-based internal audit and securitization framework. As a Senior Internal Audit Manager, you must possess excellent knowledge of FSRA securitization guidance, robust understanding of internal audit principles, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record in assessing securitization programs. This role plays a significant part in strengthening the internal audit processes of our organization, providing valuable insights towards alignment with FSRA Securitization Guidance. This opportunity is fully onsite. LRoles and Responsibilities:Undergo thorough reviews of securitization framework and practices including policies, risk identification, internal controls, stress testing, scenarios and board reporting.Execute and manage the planning, execution and reporting phases of internal audit projects with precision.Develop and implement the risk and control matrix, carry out/document testing, draft audit issues, and manage walkthroughs.Coordinate with teams, interpreting and enforcing regulatory compliance in accord with FSRA Securitization Guidance.Coach, mentor and manage one internal audit staff member, fostering a positive learning environment.Evaluation of securitization risks, serving proactive solutions and recommendations.Communicate findings, provide structured reports to the board and management, and negotiate required actions effectively.Maintain a keen understanding of evolving business processes and technology impacting internal control, risk assessment and audit processes. Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in risk-based internal audit, with proven experience in the area of securitization.Solid understanding of risk and controls within securitization practices.Prior experience in planning, execution, and reporting of internal audit projects.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficient understanding of FSRA regulatory requirements for Securitization.Experience in leading team members, and ability to work independently and within a team.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
