Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:Process Analysis: Conducting thorough assessments and analysis of existing processes, systems, and operations to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.Continuous Improvement Strategy: Developing and implementing a comprehensive multi-year continuous improvement strategic roadmap aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. This includes setting targets, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs), and creating a roadmap for improvement initiatives.Change Management: Leading and facilitating change management efforts to ensure smooth implementation of improvement initiatives. This involves gaining buy-in from stakeholders, communicating changes effectively, and providing training and support to employees.Lean Six Sigma Methodology: Applying Lean Six Sigma principles and tools to drive process improvements and eliminate waste. This may involve conducting root cause analysis, implementing standard work procedures, and using data analysis techniques to identify opportunities for optimization.Performance Monitoring: Establishing monitoring mechanisms and systems to track and measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives. Regularly reviewing performance metrics and analyzing data to identify trends, evaluate results, and make necessary adjustments.Team Leadership and Collaboration: Leading cross-functional teams and working closely with department managers and employees to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Providing guidance, support, and coaching to team members involved in improvement projects.Reporting and Communication: Generating reports, presentations, and progress updates to share with senior management and stakeholders. Clearly communicating the benefits, outcomes, and ROI of continuous improvement initiatives.QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, engineering, operations management, or a related field. Lean Six Sigma certification and expertise in process improvement methodologies and tools.Experience and Qualifications: 7 years experience in process optimization and continuous improvement. - TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and related process improvement systems.Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing improvement initiatives.Proven knowledge of Lean shown through training, experiences and past success.Strong Project Management skills and experience. PMP certification preferred.Experienced in managing and running Kaizen events and transactional process improvement.Some travel will be required.Including driving, flying, and overnight travel, including trips of 4 nights/5 days. Some weekends may be required. Competencies:A strategic and analytical mindset.Ability to meet established deadlines; must be a self-starter who can work independently as well as be a team player.Expert process mapping in Visio or equivalent.Experience in Lean Manufacturing methods and tools.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to operate efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to details and uncompromising dedication to process improvement.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Exceptional organization skills.Ability to weigh and manage priorities.Confidence in abilities to lead organizational change.
