This region is constantly busy, growing, operating with a goal-oriented and customer-driven team. The Key Account Manager operates as the direct liaison between our branches and our customers, and is a crucial position in developing and maintaining the relationships that are required to grow our business.Key Responsibilities:The ability to provide excellent customer relations while keeping a positive attitude;Proactively solicit new and existing customers for equipment rentals and sales in the construction and industrial sectors;Manage and maintain accounts and relationships;Visit job sites and offices;Quote new equipment, building products and rental equipment;Deliver and communicate promotional material;Prepare detailed account growth plans;Cooperate and integrate with Regional Sales teamsManage and develop customers in various market segments;Develop positive relationships and rapport with internal teams and clientele;Ability to cater to customer schedules, after-hour events and emergencies, as well as on-call schedules;Must understand construction phases, job situations, seasonality, for timing of approaching customer for rental products;Manage and report through CRM;Create weekly and monthly territory planning in CRM;Other duties as required;Key Qualifications:Previous experience in a related field, and knowledge of construction equipment and building products;Experience in Microsoft applications, specifically: Outlook, Word, and Excel;Attention to detail and effective paperwork organization;A self-starter, with a keen sense of time-management and effective planning skills;Good communication and people skills, and the desire to work effectively within a team environment;Ability to cater to customer schedules, after-hour events and emergencies, as well as on-call schedules;Familiarity with the territory;Successful applicant must live within 120km of GTA;A clean driver's abstract.Additional QualificationsProficiency/prior experience with Systematics would be considered an asset;Technical aptitude of CAT equipment and operations would be considered an asset.Must be willing to work after hours and be on call;Travel and overnights will be required; Benefits:Health insurancePrescription Drug PlanDental careCompany Pension PlanEmployee stock purchase planLife insurancePaid time offBonusJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $85,000.00 - $99,000.00 per year Battlefield Equipment Rentals is committed to creating an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds can thrive.
