Staff Accountant (Mandarin)

We are in search of a Staff Accountant with Mandarin language skills to join our team located in Markham, Ontario. The role primarily involves processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. In addition, monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action will be a significant part of your duties.Responsibilities:- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications- Maintain and update customer credit records regularly- Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner- Monitor customer accounts for irregularities and take appropriate action when necessary- Conduct Account Reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial information- Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and presentation- Apply Public Accounting and Public Accounting Audit principles in financial tasks- Prepare Notice to Reader (NTRs) and Compilation reports- Use CaseWare for financial reporting and auditing- Perform bookkeeping duties to maintain financial records.The candidate should be well-versed with the procedures of public accounting and have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin will be considered an asset.
