Bookkeeper/Office Manager

Robert Half is partnering with an owner managed Law Firm that's looking to add a Bookkeeper/Office Manager to their team in the Ottawa-East region. This is a full-time/permanent role on site. Advantages:-Salary (60-70K)-Full benefits and RRSP's-3 weeks vacation-Free parking-Chance of Christmas closure-Excellent team Responsibilities:-Process the accounts receivable and the accounts payable -Process bi-weekly payroll -Remittances (GST, HST, PST EHT, WSIB)-Verify invoice validity-Follow up with vendors if any discrepancies -Prepare deposits; and prepare cheques for signature-Bank and Credit Card reconciliation -Assist the management team; and implement new accounting procedures if required -Document bookkeeping & financial management process-Some other related function in accounting and admin.Qualifications:-Post secondary education in accounting or in a similar field-Must be comfortable working in an office space.
