Job Description

We are offering an engaging role in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry situated in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The position is for an Inventory Analyst and it provides an opportunity to contribute to our team's success by ensuring the accuracy of our inventory systems and managing stock levels effectively. This is a short term contract employment opportunity which entails working closely with various internal functions such as Customer Service and Marketing to ensure items are in stock at all locations.Responsibilities:- Ensure the accuracy of the SAP perpetual inventory system and balance it with the systems of our third-party logistics partners.- Manage stock levels at all locations, reviewing forecast accuracy data and adjusting inventory levels accordingly.- Maintain optimal stock levels for products across all business units.- Conduct an effective, ongoing cycle counting and an annual full inventory count program with third-party logistics partners.- Identify trends and opportunities, evaluate risks, and make recommendations to develop inventory-related contingency plans.- Establish policies and procedures necessary to achieve inventory performance targets.- Reduce inventory holding and scrap/write off costs by implementing control procedures and maintaining policies/procedures to manage the flow of inventory.- Handle monthly and quarterly KPIs as determined by the company's internal measures.- Identify and reconcile out of balance items, determine causes for discrepancies, and adjust stock accordingly in SAP.- Work independently to develop strategies ensuring proper levels of inventory and an accurate forecast.- Familiarity with Epic Software is essential for this role.- Proficiency with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions is required.- Experience with IBM AS/400 and Interface Engine will be beneficial.- Knowledge of About Time software is preferred.- Must have auditing skills.- Familiarity with Collection Processes is necessary.- Excellent Communication skills are required.- Must have strong Customer Service skills.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
