Intermediate Accountant

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Accountant to join our team in Hamilton, Ontario. In this role, you will be involved in various financial operations including month-end processes, financial analysis, and intercompany transactions. This role is in the industry of accounting and will take place in a dynamic workplace environment.Responsibilities:- Execute month-end processes, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of our financial records.- Prepare financial statements up to the drafting phase, ensuring accurate representation of the company's financial status.- Perform financial analysis tasks, including variance analysis, to understand financial performance and trends.- Manage company assets effectively, maintaining accurate records and ensuring optimal utilization.- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.- Handle intercompany transactions, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.- Analyze budget and forecast data, providing insights and recommendations.- Support audit processes by preparing necessary financial records and documentation.- Work on special projects as required, such as cleaning up financials from acquired organizations.- Utilize various accounting software systems for efficient and effective financial management.- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems- Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services- Knowledge of Concur- Understanding of Accounting Functions- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)- Knowledge of Accrual Accounting- Auditing experienceRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
