Finance Manager

Job Title: Finance Manager - 6 month contract Location: Hamilton, Ontario (On Site )Overview:Our client, a rapidly growing company, is seeking a part-time Finance Manager with a CPA designation, strong operational and accounting experience, and advanced Excel skills. Prior experience managing a finance team is highly desirable.Key Responsibilities:Manage the operations and accounting functions of the finance team, including: Full-cycle accounts payable (procure-to-pay function), Accounts Receivable, Cash, Fixed assets, and AccrualsOversee and prepare journal entries and accruals.Work closely with all business departments to address their financial needs.Supervise Accounting Team.Qualifications:Minimum of 7 years of finance and accounting experience.Proven experience at the Finance Manager level.Proficient in full cycle accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, fixed assets, and accruals.Advanced proficiency in Excel, including reporting, pivots, and lookups.Major ERP systems experience is an asset.A CPA designation is preferred.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Proven ability to work in a team setting.Willingness for on-site presence in Hamilton.Expectations:The role is part-time, with an expectation of 20 hours of work per week over two to three days onsite in our Hamilton location. The initial term is minimum of 6 months, with possibility for extension. The successful candidate will need a 'take initiative attitude' and have an ability to adapt to changes.
