Job Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Financial Planning Analyst in Toronto, Ontario. The primary function of this role is to track and develop operating expense budgets, analyze operational data, and collaborate cross-functionally for efficiency in the manufacturing process. This role also involves analyzing warehousing and supply chain logistics costs, assisting in the preparation of board presentations, and ensuring compliance with the company's Integrated Management Systems.Key responsibilities:- Accurately track and analyze operating expenses by cost centers, identifying trends and variances- Forecast future operating expenses, incorporating business drivers and assumptions- Collaborate with senior leaders for Annual Workforce Planning & Site Performance Calibration- Monitor and report on key operational performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement- Drive operating efficiency through manufacturing process improvements and vendor contract negotiations- Analyze and develop strategies for warehousing and supply chain logistics costs- Assist in the preparation of presentations for the Board of Directors- Fulfill any financial audit requests in a timely manner- Ensure compliance with the company's Integrated Management Systems- Adhere to all rules and policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, and company requirements.- Must possess at least one year of experience in a Financial Planning Analyst role or similar- Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Billing procedures- Competency in Microsoft Excel is required- Experience with Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP software is highly valued- Familiarity with Budgeting and Budgeting - Forecasting is necessary- Knowledge in Costing is an added advantage- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines- Should be detail-oriented and capable of maintaining high levels of accuracy in work.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
