Accounts Payable Clerk

We are offering an opportunity in the manufacturing industry based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The position is for an Accounts Payable Clerk. The role will involve tasks related to account reconciliation, processing invoices, and handling various finance requests. Responsibilities:- Handling the full cycle of accounts payable.- Conducting month-end tasks such as journal entries and reporting.- Performing account reconciliation to ensure accuracy.- Processing invoices and ensuring they are coded correctly.- Handling ad-hoc finance requests as needed.- Utilizing software tools such as Microsoft Excel and SAP for data entry and management.- Conducting monthly account reconciliation and month-end close activities.- Executing check runs to ensure timely payment of invoices.- Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.- Maintaining a detailed and organized record of all transactions.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar position- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Monthly Account Reconciliation- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures- Familiarity with Check Runs and Coding Invoices processes- Strong Data Entry skills- Proven experience in Invoice Processing- Expertise in Microsoft Excel- Familiarity with SAP software- Experience with Month End Close procedures- Ability to prepare and record Journal Entries- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly- Strong interpersonal and communication skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
