Job Description

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. The role is predominantly within the manufacturing industry, operating in an established workplace. The main function of this position involves the processing and reconciliation of accounts receivable, invoicing, and liaising with the sales team and customers.Responsibilities:- Efficiently process customer credit applications to ensure accurate customer accounts.- Manage and update customer credit records diligently.- Handle invoicing tasks in a timely manner.- Carry out bank reconciliation tasks in multiple currencies.- Apply payments to customer accounts accurately.- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise.- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.- Liaise effectively with the sales team and customers to ensure smooth operations.- Utilize various software tools such as Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel in daily tasks.- Process customer payments and ensure accurate application of payments to their accounts.- Must hold a minimum of three years of experience in the field of accounts receivable.- Proficiency in account reconciliation is required.- Familiarity with accounts receivable (AR) processes and procedures is essential.- Demonstrated experience in billing operations.- Experience with cash applications is needed.- Capability in cash collections is a must.- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required to manage and analyze data.- Familiarity with Oracle for managing financial data is essential.- Experience with SAP for business process management is required.- The candidate should have strong organizational and multitasking skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial.- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are important.- The candidate must be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.- Must demonstrate a strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
