I am currently recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader for one of my clients, a manufacturing company in the field of electric transport located in Drummondville. Job description: - Responsible for supplying assembly cells with parts to ensure smooth operations (deadlines, quantities & the right part at the right station); - Manage production and storage scrap (waste, recycling, metal and wood); - Ensure preventive maintenance of inter-plant feeder carts; - Maintain and update warehouse merchandise location as required; - Perform shipping and receiving functions; - In collaboration with the warehouse clerk, handle goods using a forklift; - Verify merchandise and quantities received according to delivery slips; - Receive merchandise into the system; - Maintain and manage the physical inventory; - Participate in cycle counts; - Prepare and ship parts for after-sales service (next-day shipments); - Follow-up with purchasing department for warranty returns; - Ensure proper housekeeping; - Supervise and mentor warehouse clerks and ensure compliance with safe working practices. Skills required: - DES or other relevant degree - Experience in a similar position - Minimum 3 years experience in forklift driving - Knowledge of ERP and inventory systems - Good physical capacity (lift loads of 35-50 lbs) - Demonstrate initiative, thoroughness and attention to detail - Excellent organizational skills
