FINANCE TRAINEE
SCONE
Temporary Full-Time (35 hours per week) – 24 month contract
The role:
Council is currently seeking a Finance Trainee to assist with a range of financial tasks including but not limited to; assisting in all financial duties including bank reconciliation, debtor and creditor invoicing, answering telephone enquiries and other general administrative tasks.
What’s on Offer:
$803.30 to $1231.10 per 35 hour week (depending on level of school completion) + 11.5% super and the opportunity for salary progression
20 days paid annual leave every year, generous sick leave entitlements and access to flexi-time system
Access to training and development opportunities
Access to long service leave after 5 years of continuous service
Salary sacrifice options
Access to flexi-time system with 1 day accrued every 3 weeks
Flexible work arrangements and reward program
What we need from you:
Our ideal candidate will have a NSW Record of School Achievement (RoSA) or equivalent and be prepared to enrol in a Diploma of Accounting or relevant qualification. Effective oral and written communication skills and an interest in Finance is also essential, as is the willingness to learn and develop new skills.Computer skills, particularly data entry, word processing and spreadsheet skills are also a requirement for the position.
