Salary: £47,000 - £52,500 per annum - negotiable depending on experience
Hours: Full time Monday- Friday

About the role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to work as a Pharmacy Manager, joining a highly reputable private hospital based in Reading. The hospital has state of the art facilities and this is an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacy Manager to join their friendly and experienced Pharmacy team. The role is perfect for an experienced Pharmacy Manager looking for the challenge of delivering comprehensive pharmacy service within hospital settings. The hospital covers a wide range of specialities and procedures including orthopaedics, gynaecology, cardio and many more.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Pharmacy Manager and will be responsible for:
The provision of exemplary pharmacy service in accordance with current legislation and clinical requirements
Provide advice to consultants, other clinicians and patients
Ensuring the safe, appropriate and cost-effective use of medicines
Responsible to leading, motivation and managing pharmacy team
Advise on the safe management of medicines to the hospital and it's departments
Lead on quality improvement projects and audit within pharmacy
Who we're looking for
All applicants for the role of Pharmacy Manager must meet the following requirements;
Be GPHC registered - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
At least 4 years experience working as a Pharmacist in a clinical setting in the UK
Managerial experience in a Pharmacy setting in the UK is essential
Awareness and knowledge of Oncology Pharmacy
Excellent communication skills
