Location: Hinkley, Bridgwater, Somerset

Salary: Up to £35,000, working 38 hours a week with overtime available

Company vehicle, fuel card, phone and tablet

The position will be working on a nuclear site, working 4 days per week, every Friday off!

If you wanted work on a Friday we could also sort this, working in the field.

Requirements

What will you be doing?

• Conduct thorough surveys ensuring accurate bulk sampling and precise site notes
• Engage in comprehensive training programs and stay current with industry trends
• Complete tasks ranging from statutory re-inspections to airborne fibre monitoring and 4-stage clearance activities
• Provide expert asbestos management advice to clients, significantly contributing to health and safety
• Ensure all asbestos-related work meets quality standards, collaborating with the technical team
• Compile accurate reports, maintaining site laboratory integrity and reliability.
• Identify growth opportunities and promote services to clients, driving success and expansion
• Implement and monitor safety procedures, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
• Offer technical advice and support to the team and clients, and prepare comprehensive health and safety risk assessments

What do you need?

• Strong knowledge of current asbestos regulations, including P402, P403, and P404 qualifications
• A proactive mindset, dedicated to meeting deadlines
• Minimum of 6 months' experience working in a UKAS accredited environment
• Possession of a full UK Driving Licence
