Location: Doncaster
Salary: £140 to £190 per day

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Full-Time

About the Role:
As a Humanities Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and informative lessons that inspire students to develop their knowledge and skills in the Humanities. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a comprehensive Humanities curriculum, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on students’ educational journeys and help them discover their passion for history, geography, and social sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive Humanities curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that inspire students to develop their knowledge and skills in history, geography, and social sciences.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
Organise and oversee field trips and other experiential learning opportunities to enhance students’ understanding of the Humanities.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and report to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching Humanities.
Relevant qualifications or training in Humanities education (desirable but not essential).
To work with GSL Education as a Humanities Teacher, you will need:
Have the right to work in the UK
Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
