Job Description
HR Advisor
I am currently recruiting on behalf of my prestigious client, based in Northampton, NN3, for a HR Advisor to join on a full-time, permanent contract.
The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the HR caseload of the different sites of the company, supporting higher management, staff, stakeholders, and clients in all aspects, and providing comprehensive HR advice in all aspects of ER and HR.
The post holder will function as the first point of contact for the unit managers and deputy managers with Employee Relations queries. The post holder will provide comprehensive support to the core HR team and provide support for the wider business when required in all Administration areas and auditing.
The post holder will oversee the HR case and Family-friendly trackers, flexible working, and reasonable adjustments. The post holder will need to be up to date with current Employment law and legislation.
About the role:
* Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR-related matters
* Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
* Handle casework, including investigations, disciplinaries, appeals, occupational health, absences management, and performance management
* Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans
* Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
* Conduct research on HR best practices and assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
* Maintain knowledge of current HR trends and developments
Hours and Pay:
* Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm
* Salary up to £35,000 - dependent on experience
* Full time, permanent position
About you:
* Applicants must have CIPD level 5 qualification or above
* Proven minimum of 2 years experience in a similar HR position – including HR Advisor, HR Business Partner, Human Resources Advisor, HRBP, HR Generalist..
* Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures
* Proficient in data entry and record keeping
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
