Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior React Native Developer in Hitchin, with flexibility for remote work one day per week. The Senior Developer will be responsible for mobile application development, iOS & Android development, object-oriented programming (OOP), and software development. Day-to-day tasks will involve coding, testing, debugging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

The majority of the existing tech workforce are experts in Laravel, PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript so a good grasp of recent or prior experience within this tech is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Furthering the development and evolution of React Native mobile apps
• Aiding the existing development team in pushing forward main SaaS products
• Producing code for change requests to the main SaaS applications and mobile apps
• Working with tech workforce and the wider commercial team

Qualifications

• React Native mobile application development
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Software Development expertise
• Knowledge of mobile app architecture, UI/UX design principles, and API integration
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or relevant experience)
• Relevant certifications in mobile app development or software engineering
• Working in collaborative Agile environments
• PHP/Laravel experience is highly desired
