Civils Site Manager (Yorkshire)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Civils Site Manager to join a leading construction business in the North of England, specialising in projects within the natural resources environment.
The candidate must have a proven track record in working with organisations such as the Water Authority, Environment Agency, Coal Authority, Canals and Rivers Trust, or similar.
The candidate should possess strong commercial awareness, particularly around the NEC ECC form of contract, and demonstrate astuteness in the Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) process. Knowledge of behavioural-based safety practices and a safety-first approach to site management is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee civil engineering projects in the natural resources sector.
* Ensure commercial management of the project, with a strong understanding of the NEC ECC contract and CVR process.
* Promote and maintain a safety-conscious work environment, with a focus on behavioural-based safety.
* Lead project teams to deliver on-time, within budget, and to high standards of quality and compliance.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the natural resources sectors, ideally water.
* Extensive experience with NEC ECC contracts and commercial management.
* Strong background in safety culture and behavioural-based safety practices.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Able to provide references to validate a comprehensive skill set and experience.
* SMSTS
* CSCS
