IT Head

Job Title : IT Head Location : Ahmedabad Job Description : Position Summary : We seek an experienced and strategic IT leader to head our Information Technology department. The successful candidate will oversee the overall IT operations, infrastructure, and applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving digital transformation initiatives. The Head of IT will lead a team of IT professionals, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the security, integrity, and compliance of our IT systems and data. Key Responsibilities : - IT Operations and Infrastructure Management : Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, including datacenters, cloud services, and network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, SDWAN). Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of IT systems and infrastructure - IT Applications : Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT applications, including SAP and other business-critical systems. Ensure seamless integration of applications with SAP and other systems - IT Governance and ITGC : Develop and implement IT governance policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure compliance with ITGC (IT General Controls) and other regulatory requirements. - Cloud and Industrial Automation : Manage the implementation and maintenance of cloud services, including AWS. Oversee the integration of industrial automation systems, including SIEMENS PLC/SCADA equipment. - IT and Data Security : Develop and implement IT security policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data, including cyber security and SIEM implementation. - Vendor Management : Manage vendor relationships, including OEM and commercial negotiations. Ensure effective vendor management and contract compliance. - Datacenter and Cloud : Oversee the management of datacenters and cloud services. - Ensure datacenter and cloud migration, disaster recovery planning, and implementation. - ITIL and SAP: Ensure ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework implementation. - Manage SAP licensing and audit, including SAP Basis Administration. - Team Management: Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing training, motivation, and career growth opportunities. Ensure effective IT team training and development programs. Other Responsibilities : - Manage end-user data backup and recovery. - Oversee mobile app SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) - Manage service desk ticket SLA and IT asset management - Ensure IT and GST compliance - Develop and implement business continuity planning - Manage Google Workspace Business email administration - Oversee Microsoft licensing and audit Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - Minimum 15 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role - Proven experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, and applications management - Strong knowledge of IT governance, ITGC, and regulatory requirements - Experience with cloud services, including AWS - Strong understanding of industrial automation systems, including SIEMENS PLC/SCADA equipment - Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities (ref:hirist.tech)
