Project Accountant

Staff Accountant Role in Walworth County

We are partnering with a regional construction company that is looking for a new Project Accountant to join the team. This position is to replace someone who was just promoted internally and will have a direct line to the Controller and CFO.

Job Duties:

• Reviewing monthly general ledger accounts
• Provide support to collections team
• Assist in year end reporting and account requirements
• Analyze and reconcile the general ledger accounts related to AR and AP
• Provide support for other accounting functions when needed

Job Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience
• Construction/Contracting Company experience required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Quick learning skills
• Organization and attention to detail
