Senior Accountant Job in Phoenix, AZ

LHH is conducting a search for a Senior Accountant in the Phoenix area who is has hands on General Ledger experience. Our client is an industry front-runner in the logistics and technology space with an encouraging work environment and offering great benefits. This candidate will need to have proficient Excel experience, as well as strong analytical skills.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

• Gather financial material to prepare General Ledger entries
• Interpret and report financial and operational information to management
• Sustain adequate documentation to support all accounting related transaction
• Summarize financial standing by accumulating data and preparing balance sheet and profit/loss statements
• Preparations of financial statements, management reports and extensive account analysis.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 year’s experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• CPA Preferred not required
• Strong GL experience
