Senior Category Marketing Manager
Leicester - Hybrid
£60-£65k plus car allowance and exceptional package
This role can work for someone earlier in their career who is looking for career progression where the structured training and knowledge in the team is there to support your development. Similarly, it will suit someone wanting a sideways move to a major business where future opportunities on other sites are an option. This is a busy food category, with lots of activity across three retailers and the client is looking for food or FMCG knowledge to get into the detail and dynamics of this growing product category.

The Role
Working closely with commercial and development, supporting future development projects, giving that vital consumer insight into future market trends.
With a flat structure there is a real opportunity as the Category Marketing Manager for exposure to the senior team.
Customer facing - working closely with the relevant contacts in the retailer.
A chance to work in one of the biggest product categories in the UK.
Getting under the skin of the category working closely with commercial and NPD
Intuitive, able to interpret data and translate that into effective plans.
Communication - verbal and written form. Massively important in equal measure.
Flexible working is an option which is always a real attraction with work life balance and increasingly busy commutes.
Your background
Experience in marketing or commercial with exposure to development
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
A good communicator - confident and able
Ideally, some customer facing experience
Able to work to deadlines and prioritise effectively
Qualified to degree level
