Job Description
FT Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client based in the Birmingham area. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Scaffold Builder to join our team.
Responsibilities
* Assemble and dismantle scaffolding structures according to project specifications and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and masons, to ensure seamless integration of scaffolding into the overall project.
* Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for fabrication tasks.
* Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding to ensure stability and compliance with safety standards.
* Assist in welding tasks as needed to secure scaffold components.
* Perform basic electrical work related to scaffold lighting setups when required.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring that all tools and materials are stored correctly after use.
* Engage in painting tasks for protective coatings on scaffold materials as necessary.
* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in scaffold building or a related construction field is essential.
* Familiarity with welding techniques and fabrication processes is highly desirable.
* Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools, and masonry equipment.
* CISRS Card
* have access to own car and Must drive
* Green CSCS
Job Details:
* Monday-Friday
* 8am-16:00pm
* start in the yard and finish in the yard
