The Glasgow Pram Centre have created a new role for the ideal person to join their thriving family-run business.
Our recently refurbished showroom includes a specialist car seat fitting centre and the UK’s first and largest Cybex side-by-side store.
Core responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
· Assisting the in-house bookkeeper working in a small busy office. Your duties will involve but not exhaustive too:
· Recording daily Sales figures onto excel spreadsheet
· Importing sales figures from excel spreadsheet onto Sage
· Check suppliers’ invoices against purchase orders and delivery lines
· Process suppliers’ invoices onto Sage
· Reconcile supplier statements
· Process supplier payments
· General adhoc duties
· Work to tight deadlines
Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
· At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar role
· Excellent IT skills with solid practical experience of Sage Line 50 and MS Excel, Word & Outlook.
· Have the ability to learn new IT systems
· Be able to apply a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
· Be able to multi-task and cope with a fast-paced, busy office environment
· Be proactive & highly motivated
· Have good communication and organisational skills
Terms:
· 22.5 hours per week , 8 hours per week day with ½ hour unpaid lunch break between Monday-Friday. Exact days to be confirmed.
· Permanent contract, subject to successful probationary period.
Onsite parking.
