As a Sleep Coach at Sleep.8, you will be an essential member of our store's leadership team, assisting the store management in supporting the overall mission of emphasising sleep wellness and providing quality products. Your role will involve contributing to a human-centric approach to customer interactions, promoting disruptive thinking, and upholding a commitment to teamwork and honesty within the store.
Requirements
Customer Engagement:
- Create a welcoming, human-centred shopping environment that aligns with our focus on sleep wellness.
- Assist customers in selecting beds and mattresses, considering their specific preferences and needs.
- Contribute to educating customers on the importance of quality sleep and the benefits of our products.
- Address customer questions and concerns with empathy and honesty.
Product Knowledge:
- Uphold our commitment to delivering quality bed and mattress products.
- Continuously enhance your product knowledge and that of the sales team, emphasising product features and benefits.
- Contribute to demonstrating the superior qualities of our offerings.
Team Support:
- Collaborate with the store management in creating a culture of teamwork, open communication, and honesty within the team.
- Assist in motivating and developing the team's abilities to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Provide opportunities for staff development and growth.
Operational Excellence:
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the store and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
- Support inventory management, restocking, and conducting regular audits to ensure product availability.
- Uphold safety and security protocols to maintain a safe and secure store environment.
Sales Support:
- Work closely with the store management to achieve sales targets and profitability.
- Encourage the team to think disruptively to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Assist in monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics and support continuous improvements.
Honesty and Integrity:
- Promote a culture of honesty and integrity, both in customer interactions and team dynamics.
- Encourage open and honest communication within the team and with customers.
Desirable Skills:
- Retail experience, preferably with a focus on customer service.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a dedication to honesty and integrity.
- Ability to work collaboratively and promote a culture of teamwork.
- A genuine passion for sleep wellness and helping customers.
- Ability to lift heavy items from time-to-time.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and retail operations.
