Up to £19.50 per hour plus on call payments

Electrician role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrician to join our Property Maintenance and Construction Department working within our Ashington / Durham maintenance teams.
As an Electrician you will be responsible for undertaking all electrical repairs and associated multiskilled repairs to both domestic and commercial properties to a high-quality standard whilst delivering an excellent customer service.
About you as an Electrician:
To be successful in this role you will have a flexible approach and experience of working within a domestic and commercial property maintenance and target driven environment. Our client is customer focused in everything we do, so you will have excellent customer service skills in the delivery of your work, conversing with a wide range of people in the delivery of a first-class repairs service.
You will be required to engage with all stakeholders of the service, acting as an Ambassador of our client, promoting and endorsing the positive work that we do across our communities in our client's way. Our client put people at the heart of everything we do, so it's important, that we deliver a first-class customer service where we are proud to be recognised for the quality service that we deliver.

Electrician Job Role:
You will have a sound working knowledge of your trade discipline and exhibit sound knowledge of the wider building construction sector, understanding components, materials, building trades and applicable regulations
To carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the onsite supervisor
Service equipment
Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all buildings, equipment and systems to meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements
Electrically you will be working on, fire alarm testing, lighting and power and more electrical duties.
Maintain strict compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
Keep detailed records of all maintenance work performed
Work flexible working hours to suit business requirements
Form part of the out of hours call out rota, attend emergency repair works as required
Electrician Essential Skills:
NVQ/City & Guilds Certificate qualifying you as an Electrician
18th Edition,
Testing & Inspection
Full driving license
You will also be able to demonstrate experience of working in a customer focused environment where the customer comes first.
Electrician Benefits:
£37,292 per annum
Standard hours 37 per week Monday to Friday
Where required to be on call, an on-call retainer of £30 per day is paid, together with overtime paid if called out
36 days annual leave including bank holidays
