Learning Support Assistant
Location: In and around St Helen's
Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Ad-hoc (Flexible)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking compassionate and experienced Learning Support Assistants to work in SEND schools in and around St Helen's. Whether you're looking for full-time, part-time, or ad-hoc work, we have a range of opportunities to fit your schedule. You must be flexible and available for morning calls to cover last-minute vacancies.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with special educational needs
Assist in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
Support students in their learning and personal development
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff
Help manage behaviour and provide emotional support to students as neededRequirements:
Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant (preferably in SEND settings)
A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature
Willingness to work flexibly across different SEND schools in Merseyside
Available for morning calls for same-day assignments
