Job Description
Role: Contract Manager
Location: Leicester
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Package
Our clinet is one of the UK's leading specialist steel fabricators, working with partners in the energy, engineering, and construction sectors to deliver their UK Wide projects.
As a Contracts Manager you will manage steel projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and meet quality standards. You will lead teams, manage resources, and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring safety and performance.
- Manage project planning, delivery, and subcontractors.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and procurement standards.
- Collaborate with QS on contractual notices, approvals, and valuations.
- Build and maintain client relationships to promote future business.
- Set and monitor project-specific KPIs.
- Support the sales team with tender submissions.
Skills & Qualifications:
Essential:
- Strong understanding of construction, steelwork fabrication, and project delivery.
- NEC Contract experience
- Proficiency in engineering drawings, contracts, and industry-standard software (MS Office).
- Strong commercial, contractual, and business acumen.
- Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
