Job Description
Role: Primary Supply Teacher
Location: Hertfordshire
Pay: £120 – £150 per day
Hours: 08:30am – 15:30pm
Contract Type: Daily Supply – Short term – Long Term – Temporary to Permanent
Supply Desk is a nationwide leading education recruitment specialist. We connect qualified teaching staff with both short-term and long-term placements in a wide range of Primary schools throughout Hertfordshire and surrounding regions. Currently, we are seeking to recruit Primary Teachers and welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) eager to start their careers in a supportive and dynamic educational environment as well as unqualified and experienced primary teachers.
You will need excellent classroom management skills and a thorough knowledge of the current National Curriculum. You will encourage positive pupil development and monitor pupil’s progression.
This is a great opportunity to be introduced to a range of Primary Schools across Hertfordshire and the surrounding area and potentially gain a long-term role. This is also an opportunity for a casual and flexible position, where you have full control of when you want to work.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Experience teaching in a Primary setting
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- Be adaptable to different environments
- Experience in working within SEN
- Energetic and positive attitude
- QTS
- Current DBS registered on the update service or willing to apply
