Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Edinburgh
Sector: M+E Building Services Contractor
We are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading M+E building services contractor in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who has a strong background in the mechanical and electrical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of quantity surveying within mechanical and electrical projects.
Oversee cost management, contract administration, and risk mitigation.
Work with standard contract forms, including JCT, SBCC, and NEC.
Provide commercial support across project teams, ensuring financial objectives are met.
Conduct valuations, cost reporting, and final accounts management.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, preferably with a contractor in the mechanical and electrical sector.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Proficient with standard contract forms (JCT, SBCC, NEC).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
