About the Role:

TimePlan Education is looking for detail-oriented and reliable Exam Scribes and Readers to support students across Hertfordshire on a flexible, ad-hoc basis. In this role, you will provide crucial assistance to candidates who are unable to write or read independently during exams, ensuring they can fully engage with the assessment process.

Key Responsibilities:

Scribe: Accurately transcribe answers for students unable to write during exams, following all JCQ regulations.
Reader: Read exam questions aloud to students who require assistance, ensuring clarity and maintaining neutrality.
Work closely with students to create a comfortable and supportive environment.
Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of the exam process at all times.
Assist with the setup of the exam venue and ensure compliance with exam procedures.Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience as a scribe, reader, or invigilator is desirable.
JCQ training or a willingness to undertake training is essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A calm, patient, and professional demeanor, particularly under pressure.
