Site manager

Job Title: Site Manager - 22 weeks

Location: South East England, Oxfordshire, Bicester

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work full-time hours

Primary Industry: Construction

Salary: £250 - £270 per day

Job Duties:

Manage all on-site activities to ensure the successful completion of construction projects
Coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site
Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders
Manage project budgets and resources effectively
Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise on site

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Health and Safety qualifications

Education:

Relevant degree or vocational qualification in Construction Management or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Site Manager role

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of construction project management principles
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) accreditation
First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

Work on construction sites in various weather conditions
May require travel to different project locations
Full-time hours with potential for overtime
