PCB Layout Engineer

Who will you be working with?
Our client is an innovator focused on transforming battery systems for electric vehicles and energy storage. Their unique technology improves battery performance, safety, and efficiency, supporting a more sustainable, clean energy future.

They're at a pivotal stage of development and are seeking an experienced PCB Layout contractor in their Edinburgh office to create designs that support testing, evaluation, and customer-facing reference materials

What you can expect to work on:

• Leading PCB layout projects, handling circuit design, layout, and assembly.
• Collaborating closely with engineers to refine and optimise designs.
• Creating and reviewing PCB layouts, and adjusting schematics as needed.
• Developing and maintaining part libraries and producing manufacturing data packs.
• Coordinate across teams to ensure seamless project integration.

What you will need to thrive as an applicant:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in PCB layout engineering.
• Proficiency in Altium for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Knowledge of analogue and digital PCB design, IPC standards, and EMI/EMC practices.
• Ability to manage priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
