Design Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Design Coordinator in the Midlands. This position is working for a main building contractor who operate across the Midland's region. This opportunity will see you working on projects ranging in value from £2m - £15m in the Public and Private Sectors. The contractor has a strong pipeline of work over the next couple of years and have a good track record of producing high quality projects. They are also growing well and looking to expand their team meaning there is scope for progression into a Design Manager role.

Ensuring drawings, specifications and deliverables for the design are produced on time, to a high quality.
Supporting the design process using technical expertise; programming design works and monitoring compliance.
Striving to eliminate health and safety risks in the design and financial risks during construction.
Maintaining thorough documentation of the design process.
Working with the site teams to help produce a quality project.
Overseeing BREEAM documentation.The Successful Design Coordinator will have:

A minimum of a basic Technical understanding of Building
Full UK driver's license.
Experience with BREEAM and other Building compliance documentation.

Salary dependant on experience: up to £50,000.00 p/a + car allowance
